Wave Scientific are a UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 10136 specialising in electromagnetic and radio frequency measurements. Our services include UKAS accredited calibration of semi-anechoic chambers, Fully Anechoic Rooms (FARs) and other test sites used for EMC measurements. Typical calibration measurements include Normalised Site Attenuation (NSA), Site VSWR and Field Uniformity. We also carry out shielding effectiveness measurements of screened rooms, enclosures and other facilities at frequencies up to 40 GHz.

The Normalized Site Attenuation (NSA) measurement is used to determine the suitability of a test site (Semi-anechoic chamber or an Open Area Test Site) for performing radiated emissions measurements as required by international standards including CISPR 16-1-4 and ANSI C64.4.
