Wave Scientific now offer measurements of RF shielding effectiveness at frequencies up to 40 GHz.

Continued investment in measurement instrumentation means that we can now provide a shielding effectiveness measurement service covering frequencies from below 1 kHz all the way through to 40 GHz.

The 18 – 40 GHz frequency range has traditionally been required for measuring the performance of military shielding installations and other specialist shielding applications, however with commercial and telecoms applications using increasingly higher frequencies, shielding performance above 18 GHz are becoming important for non-military applications.

We offer shielding effectiveness measurements in accordance with all international standards including IEEE Std 299, EN 50147-1, NSA 94-106 (NSA 65-6), MIL-STD-285 and MIL-STD-188-125.

We carry out shielding effectiveness measurements on screened rooms and other facilities worldwide as well as measuring the performance  of shielded enclosures and shielding materials.
